Assembler

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Assemblers. In this role, you will support the assembly and material handling teams, contributing to production and product packaging. Your responsibilities will include using hand and power tools to perform assemblies on an assembly line and following work procedures to ensure the completion of builds. You will also receive training in shipping and receiving, acquiring skills to support the warehouse and materials team responsible for shipping inventory and supplying materials to the production team.

• Perform robotics assembly and testing.
• Engage in material movement and data collection.
• Conduct manual assembly and component testing.
• Perform visual inspections and inventory tracking.
• Use hand tools to assemble and repair large mechanical assemblies.
• Operate basic power tools and follow work instructions for each assembly job.
• Train and learn new duties while working effectively with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools for assembly and repair.
• Dexterity for manual assembly and strength to handle components up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow work instructions and communicate effectively in a team setting.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and tools such as 5S Principles and Kaizen.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems.
• Certificate or degree in electro-mechanical fields.
• Ability to use pallet jacks and any type of shipping experience.
• Experience in assembly or warehouse settings is advantageous.

The role operates on the 1st shift from 6:15 am to 2:45 pm in a modern and well-equipped facility. The environment supports cross-training between the assembly production line and warehouse functions to ensure a well-rounded skill set.

This is a Contract position based out of NORTH READING, MA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
