Maintenance Assistant & Delivery Driver: The Best of Both Worlds Location: Easton, MA License Required: Valid Class D (No CDL required!) Tired of the same four walls every day? Our client is looking for a "Jack-of-all-trades" who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work and the freedom of the open road. As a Maintenance Assistant & Driver, you won’t just be stuck in a shop or stuck in traffic—you’ll be doing a bit of both to keep their operations humming. One day you might be troubleshooting a mechanical issue or painting a facility wall; the next, you’ll be behind the wheel of a mid-sized flatbed delivering the materials that keep our customers’ projects moving. How You’ll Make an Impact In the Shop (Maintenance):

• Keep It Running: Assist the Maintenance Manager with routine tasks, from basic electrical repairs to mechanical troubleshooting.
• Project Support: Jump in on various facility upgrades—whether it's painting, fixing equipment, or even a bit of welding (if you’ve got the skills!).
• Safety First: Ensure our warehouse and machinery stay in top-tier, safe working condition.

On the Road (Delivery):

• The Final Link: Safely transport fabricated materials to job sites using company pickups and mid-sized flatbed trucks.
• Load & Launch: Use your experience with forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload materials efficiently and securely.
• The Face of the Company: Provide professional service while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Hands-On Skills: You’re proficient with power tools and have a solid mechanical "knack" for fixing things.
• A Clean Slate: You have a valid Class D license and a squeaky-clean driving record (no DUIs). Note: A recent copy of your driving record will be required to be considered
• Physical Strength: You’re comfortable lifting heavy objects and staying active throughout the day.
• The "Plus" Factors: If you have previous facilities maintenance experience or can strike an arc (welding), you’re at the top of our list!
• Reliability: You can pass a Drug Test and DOT physical to ensure you’re safe on the road.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, electrical repairs, and mechanical work

- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing repairs

- Support the maintenance team in various projects as needed

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials and products using pick

up and mid-sized flatbed trucks

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Assist with loading and unloading materials at construction sites

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle

- Always follow safety protocols and guidelines

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
