Senior Associate - RTSM Technical Operations

The Role
The Veeva RTSM team is expanding and is looking for a Technical Operations associate to help scale its world-class IRT/RTSM system. This individual will focus on Systems Administration, Development Operations, Site Reliability Engineering, and Release Management. We are looking for individuals who thrive on solving complex problems, working together as a team, sharing knowledge, and who enjoy implementing creative solutions to address business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the execution and delivery within the team with a focus on quality.
- Lead key architecture initiatives including migrating RTSM Windows infrastructure to AWS.
- Iteratively define and refine operational processes and best practices as team grows.
- Be a trusted partner for senior management to determine the best solutions, help drive alignment and implement decisions throughout the team
- Help the team perform root cause analysis for complex failures and offer modern solutions.
- Identify and manage technical risks preventing them from becoming issues.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience in related field
- Deep knowledge and hands on experience with AWS
- 5+ years of experience in design and administration of Microsoft infrastructure and IIS.
- 5+ years of experience with cloud/clustered computing
- Demonstrated proficiency with scripting languages (Powershell, VBScript, etc)
- Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server specifically) & high availability environments.
- Strong communication skills
- Located on East Coast US

- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools

Compensation
- Base pay: $60,000 - $115,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
