Duties

• Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meats using proper knife techniques and food handling procedures


• Package meat products efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and freshness


• Ensure all meat products meet safety standards by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols


• Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about cuts, and provide excellent customer service


• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas in compliance with health regulations


• Rotate stock appropriately to minimize waste and ensure product freshness


• Support the overall food production process by helping with food preparation tasks as needed

Experience

• Prior experience in food handling, meat cutting, or kitchen environments is highly preferred


• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques are essential


• Experience in food production or culinary settings demonstrates your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment


• Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry is important


• Excellent customer service skills to assist shoppers confidently and courteously


• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with precision
