Financial Analyst, Commercial Ventures
Overview
We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst (FP&A) position with a fast-growing, multi-brand restaurant investment and operating platform in the Northeast. This role will support FP&A for one of the firmâs core concepts and work closely with a small, highly collaborative finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their FP&A career who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis in a real operating environment. The team is lean and flat, offering strong mentorship and meaningful responsibility from day one.
The position has high visibility and daily interaction with senior leadership. The company values practical problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and long-term fit. Prior exposure to restaurants or hospitality (even front-of-house experience) is viewed positively.
Highlights
- Mostly remote role; candidates may be based near Boston, MA, Portsmouth, NH, or Portland, ME for occasional in-person meetings in Boston
- Strong personal abilities and interest within Excel (vlookup, pivot table, modeling, VBA, etc.)
- High-impact FP&A role supporting a multi-unit restaurant brand
- Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and restaurant-level P&L reporting
- Direct exposure to senior leadership within a small, flat finance team
- Strong learning opportunity for candidates early in their FP&A or accounting career
