Core Responsibilities
Deliver global Commercial Development priorities/Consumer Sales Targets in the US
Commercial Planning: Lead our In-Year Gap to Target Planning & Major Novelty Launch Executions for the US.
Act as a commercial business partner to the BU GM and US Leadership Team. Provide sparring on Commercial Development topics. Offer cross functional, regional expertise when needed.
Spearhead the US Integrated Commercial Year+1 Plans, Q1 fast start planning and the Customer confidentiality process
Portfolio Deployment: Partner to drive Rare Item portfolio choices in the US; collaborate on listings choices
Revenue Management: Provide quality inputs into the US Customer Segmentation workstream and have a strong voice in Lead Market Pricing Strategy.
Enable / support sales activity within the BU (e.g., running Sales Leadership Forum / Sales Huddles)
Share guidelines from the US with other BU Leads across the Americas Market Group/Globe

Regional Commercial Development sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. The team is a key enabler to unlocking pathways towards our organizational goals and ambitions. This position plays a meaningful leadership role in enabling our sales growth ambition in the US (the largest BU for the LEGO Group). This role will influence how the LEGO Group goes to market in the US – with influence across Retail Excellence, Net Revenue Management/Pricing, Portfolio Management/Innovation, Commercial Planning, Scenario Planning and so much more! GM Mentality/Business Acumen/ Critical Thinking: Recognizing how potential outcomes impact broader business strategy.
Background/Expertise in the US Retail Landscape: Direct selling experience with retailers like Target, Walmart and Amazon a plus!
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights and the ability to craft compelling narratives in the interest of what is best for our consumers, our retail partners and the LEGO Group.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and collaborators.
Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Partnership: Ability to work collaboratively, spar with colleagues at multiple levels of seniority and build credibility quickly.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $169,031.00 - $253,547.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
