Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters Degree required
• Valid Massachusetts educator certification for Elementary Special Education (Grades 3rd)
• Previous experience working in schools with special education students

Position Details:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week
• Student Age Group: 3rd Grade
• Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for 3rd-grade students
• Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support student learning
• Use specialized teaching methods to address diverse learning needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to promote academic and social growth
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and school personnel
