Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and document observations in a timely manner.
  • Support retail operations by assisting with crowd management, directional guidance, and/or de-escalation during busy periods, special events, and other customer-facing situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
