Location: Hybrid Remote-Hanscom AFB, MA
As a Cloud Software Developer I, you will develop, create, analyze and modify software using different technologies for various cloud platforms. Support implementation, integration and maintenance of cloud-based software applications. Design or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency of cloud solutions and implementations .
The proposed salary range for this position is $86,729-$106,729. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, test, and maintain software solutions in alignment with system architecture and business needs
Collaborate with product developers, product managers, and customer application experts to implement new features and modifications
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues to ensure system stability and performance
Optimize existing software solutions by refining code, improving efficiency, and enhancing scalability
Contribute to research efforts and technical assistance for a user group or internal teams
Support the integration of software components built by various development teams
Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and adherence to development best practices
Develop and support software solutions deployed within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments
Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions
Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
Participate in growth efforts as requested
Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
Complete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)
Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in software development, including experience with object-oriented programming and version control
Ability to provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing software performance
Effective communication and collaboration skills within a cross-functional team environment
Experience with software testing, debugging, and documentation best practices
Experience developing or supporting applications within cloud environments, specifically Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification
At least one cloud certification 
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices, and distributed systems
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
Knowledge of API development, database management, and system integration
Exposure to cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and regulatory compliance in software development
Experience with Agile development methodologies
