Play Group Aide

The Neuro Bridge Play Group is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate aides to support our sensory-friendly play sessions for children of all abilities. This is an ideal opportunity for students seeking practical experience in early childhood education, occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), or special education fields.

Responsibilities:

• Support and engage with children in structured and free play activities
• Encourage inclusive social interaction among group members
• Assist trained staff with implementing sensory-friendly practices
• Help set up and tidy play spaces and activity stations
• Observe and respond to children’s needs, ensuring safety and well-being
• Communicate effectively with children, caregivers, and other staff members

Ideal Candidates

• Students pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education, Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT), or Special Education
• Individuals passionate about fostering inclusive, supportive environments for children of all abilities

Schedule & Compensation Hours: Saturdays - 11:45-4:15PM, some weekday hours available throughout the month

Location: The Neuro Bridge - 49 Union Street, Easthampton, MA

Compensation: $18/hour
