Come thrive with us at EPOCH Senior Living’s Corporate office location in Waltham, MA. We are now hiring a Full-time Accountant to join our GL Department at our exclusive Senior Living organization. This position is Monday-Friday on-site and works daily in the corporate office location.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, post journal entries, work on bank reconciliations and document maintenance.
• The successful candidate must be organized and proficient with computers, especially MS Office.
• Posting of journal entries (prepaid/recurring expenses, cash journal entries, accruals).
• Review and analyze financial statements for management and external parties.
• Ensure accuracy of the Balance Sheet.
• Ensure compliance with proper accounting methods, policies, and procedures.
• Helps with preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Interfaces with other departments to achieve financial objectives as directed by the Property Accounting Manager.
• Assists in year-end audit preparation as directed by the Property Accounting Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of General Ledger accounting experience preferred.
• Yardi experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
