BayCoast Insurance LLC is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. What you will do:
- Manage an assigned book of commercial business with a focus on accuracy, retention, and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients through proactive communication and personalized service.
- Prepare renewal reviews, process endorsements, and handle billing questions and policy changes efficiently and accurately.
- Work collaboratively with producers, underwriters, and carrier partners to ensure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
- Review policies, audits, and certificates to ensure compliance with client and carrier requirements.
- Identify and recommend appropriate coverage enhancements and cross-sell needs.
- Provide prompt assistance with claims inquiries and other client service needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions and transactions in the Agency Management System.
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support agency and departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of commercial insurance coverages, rating, and underwriting processes.
- Experience with Agency Management Systems. (Applied Epic preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comparative rating software.
- High degree of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
- Massachusetts Property & Casualty license required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
