Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Digital Transformation Engineer to join our client’s manufacturing team in Ayer, MA. This position plays a key role in leading enterprise-level digital transformation projects, driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring seamless integration between technology and business operations.

You will oversee ERP, eCommerce, and platform integrations while guiding a team of developers and external vendors. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands-on experience with Python automation, and a passion for improving business efficiency through digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead and manage digital transformation projects across ERP, order management, fulfillment, eCommerce, and platform integrations.

2. Mentor and guide software developers and digital transformation engineers.

3. Identify business process gaps and design automated, scalable digital solutions.

4. Manage external vendors and offshore development teams; ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.

5. Develop and maintain Python scripts using Pandas and NumPy for automation, reporting, and API integrations.

6. Partner with Finance and Operations to build dashboards, reports, and analytics tools for performance optimization.

7. Evaluate and recommend technology vendors (ERP, MES, CMMS, B2B/B2C, analytics, etc.).

8. Build ROI-based business cases for new digital initiatives.

9. Oversee multiple company websites, domains, and analytics platforms ensuring GDPR/CCPA compliance.

10. Collaborate with IT and Help Desk teams to document infrastructure and maintain business continuity.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. 6+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT systems integration, or enterprise solutions.

3. Strong knowledge of ERP systems, APIs, and automation tools.

4. Hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data and process automation.

5. Excellent project management and vendor coordination skills.

7. Experience with cloud-based platforms, data analytics tools, and compliance standards (GDPR/CCPA).

8. Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
