**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
+ Report irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, following established protocols.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and/or public officials as needed while on patrol.
+ Observe and document activities and incidents, completing necessary reports accurately and promptly.
+ Assist with access control and verify credentials for individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
