Are you the Front Office Receptionist we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by providing administrative support to our staff and youth.

JRI’s Children's Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are dealing with substantial behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home, in school, and within their communities.

Our team is looking for a receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our Lynn office.

This role is a fully in-person job and may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus.

Schedule: This is a part-time, "on-site" position. Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and Friday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM with possibility of increased hours.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

In This Role, You Will

  • Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures).
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
