Director of Communications & Constituent Services
The City of Gloucester is seeking an energetic Director of Communications & Constituent Services in the Mayor's Office. Director of Communications and Constituent Services originates and manages all external communications from the Mayor's office. Works with the Mayor to create the public messaging necessary to keep all residents of Gloucester and the general public engaged in the activities of the City. Collaborates with all City departments and the City Council to provide answers to constituent inquiries, and to provide resolutions of issues. Manages and creates content for the City's website, Facebook page and any other relevant social media. Drafts and finalizes public talking points and speeches for the Mayor, and other senior management as necessary. Creates and distributes press releases and other media advisories.
This is a full time, in person, 35 hour per week, benefit eligible position. Salary range is $86,600.42 - $107,676.74 per year based on qualifications and experience. For qualifications and a full job description visit:
