Attorney/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Wellesley, Massachusetts. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, with a strong background in civil litigation and expertise in handling a diverse range of legal disputes. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including personal injury cases, consumer disputes, and contract-related issues. - Provide legal counsel and defense for individuals facing claims or disputes. - Manage cases involving restraining orders, real estate conflicts, and employment termination disputes. - Draft motions, prepare briefs, and oversee discovery processes to support case strategy. - Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients during mediations and court proceedings. - Conduct legal research to ensure compliance and accuracy in case preparation. - Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored legal strategies. - Handle insurance claims and disputes with attention to detail and professionalism. - Review and analyze case documentation to identify key issues and formulate solutions. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation across various legal domains, such as personal injury, contract disputes, and employment law. - Active license to practice law in the state of Massachusetts. - Proven ability to draft motions, prepare legal briefs, and oversee discovery processes. - Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and techniques. - Excellent legal research and analytical skills. - Effective communication and negotiation abilities. - Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. - Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to client advocacy.
