We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Implementation Business Analyst with deep subject matter expertise across a wide array of financial instruments and a strong understanding of asset management data domains. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about driving innovation in financial data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new data services and sources, including requirements gathering, testing, and support of newly developed features.
- Partner with development teams and project managers to establish delivery plans and estimates for projects involving middle and back-office data integration.
- Guide clients through reference data setup, mapping, and configuration during initial implementations.
- Define and maintain standards for data ingestion, enrichment, and validation within enterprise data management solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of functional capabilities within existing and emerging data platforms.
- Document product specifications and prepare business cases to support development initiatives.
- Capture and manage ongoing enhancements to service scope for existing clients.
- Create and maintain client-facing documentation and training materials.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing consultancy, implementation support, and product demonstrations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience with financial instruments and accounting data, including Fixed Income, Derivatives, Forwards, Cash, Equities, Futures, Positions, Settlements, General Ledger, and NAV.
- Strong background in data management systems and integration of investment accounting and back-office data.
- Proven experience in software implementation projects, data services buildout, and third-party licensing.
- Familiarity with front-office platforms such as Aladdin, CRIMS, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of data governance, cataloging, quality, and lineage processes and tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarize complex topics and provide detailed insights.
- Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with Snowflake, SQL, BI tools, and front-office trading platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Rally, or RTC.
- Flexible and adaptable to evolving responsibilities and priorities.
