Business Development Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Mission

At Dive CAE, we’re looking for sharp, curious minds to help us open doors and build relationships with engineers across industries. As a Business Development Engineer (BDE) , you won’t just generate leads—you’ll be the first impression of a company that’s rethinking how engineers work. If you're driven, resourceful, and ready to make an impact at the intersection of tech and business, we’d love to meet you.
Your Responsibilities
- You forge trusting relationships with clients across diverse engineering sectors.
- You harness various acquisition channels like LinkedIn, cold calling, emails and industry events to generate valuable leads and propelling growth.
- You engage in structured discussions with CAE engineers, showcasing passion, curiosity, and technological understanding.
- You guide clients through the journey from initial contact to discovery meetings, facilitating seamless transitions to our account executives.
- You contribute with ideas to shape effective marketing campaigns and streamline revenue operations' processes.
- You provide market insights to inform product management decisions, fostering market responsiveness.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field OR a strong personal connection to technical fields (e.g., engineering studies, hands-on mechanical projects, automotive hobbyist, etc.)
- Ideally first sales or customer-facing experience (e.g., B2B sales, technical consulting, customer success)
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you know how to ask the right questions and handle objections with charm
- Proficiency in English language
- Organized, disciplined, and comfortable with outbound outreach and CRM tools
- A calm personality, disciplined work ethic, competitive and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments
