Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Bio Lab in Ipswich MA

Thursday, Friday 11 PM - 7 AM and Saturday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $21.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter access points, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to the location by observing foot traffic, verifying authorized entry when required, and reporting suspicious, disruptive, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Support healthcare location operations by helping to deter policy violations, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certification in CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
