Dental Office Insurance Claims and Regulatory Affairs Manager

Responsibilities:
The role of a Dental Office Insurance Claims Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of a dental practice. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of dental insurance policies and procedures.
Process insurance claims on behalf of patients. This involves verifying patient information, submitting claims to insurance companies, and following up on any outstanding payments. The manager must also be knowledgeable about different insurance plans and coverage limitations to accurately determine patient eligibility for certain procedures.
Handle any claim denials or disputes that may arise. This requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both patients and insurance companies. Be able to advocate for the best interests of the patient while adhering to the policies set by the dental practice.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to insurance claims, thus ensuring compliance with legal requirements and facilitates efficient billing processes within the practice.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. Their expertise contributes significantly to the financial success of the dental practice while providing patients with seamless insurance claim experiences.
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.- Manage the preparation, submission, and maintenance of regulatory filings, including INDs, NDAs, and BLAs.- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on regulatory requirements for clinical trials and product development.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of regulatory submissions and responses to regulatory agencies.- Stay current with changes in regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance and provide recommendations for process improvements.- Conduct research and analysis on regulatory issues and provide guidance on potential impact to the organization.- Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with GMP requirements.- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies and participate in meetings and inspections as necessary.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, preferably in Chemistry or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs within the dental practice industry- Strong knowledge of Federal and State Dental regulations, guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements.- Experience with compliance management, including developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent claims research skills with the ability to analyze complex information and provide recommendations based on findings.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory information to cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
