Locum MD (Medical Doctor) Radiology

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services and interpreting radiological results. Your expertise will directly impact patient care and support our mission to provide top-notch staffing solutions in the healthcare industry. Responsibilities
- Perform radiological examinations and procedures
- Interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Participate in continuous education and professional development
- Provide guidance and support to junior radiology staff
- Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and discussions
Requirements
- MD degree with specialization in Radiology
- Associate-level experience in a clinical setting
- Valid medical license to practice in Massachusetts
- Strong knowledge of radiological procedures and imaging technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostics
- Commitment to patient care and continuous improvement
Scheduled: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Daily Volume: 15-20 diagnostics & 3-4 procedures
Fellowship preferred but not required
PACS: McKesson
Dictation: Fluency
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & lodging
