Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our 1st shift and a Maintenance Mechanic Helper for our 2nd shift. You will work with various automated rope braiding machines, ranging from small to extra-large. This is a guaranteed opportunity to join our team, with optional Saturday work for extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on automated rope braiding machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure machines operate efficiently.
• Utilize mechanical skills to maintain and repair various sizes of braiding machines.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure production goals are met.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Industrial or manufacturing expereince.
• 2-3+ years of Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Proficiency in electrical and industrial troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform maintenance repairs.
• Ownership of personal hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CNC experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing and machine operation.
• Ability to work in loud environments with necessary protective gear.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and organized manufacturing facility filled with automated machines. The environment is warm with room temperature settings. All ropes are organized and color-coded. It is quite loud inside, so wearing hearing protection and steel-toed boots is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
