Healthcare Data Entry Specialist
Join a growing healthcare support team as a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist . In this remote role, you’ll be responsible for validating and entering essential provider information to support credentialing and enrollment processes. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities:
- Validate and enter data for provider enrollment, credentialing, and maintenance
- Manage provider information using various software systems the company uses
- Review contracts and applications to ensure complete and accurate data
- Cross-reference provider credentials via licensing boards, accreditation sites, and sanction databases
- Follow standard workflows and guidelines to ensure accurate, timely processing
Required Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of data entry experience
- Exposure to administrative systems or healthcare platforms
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail – accurately manage and input data
- Ability to follow structured workflows – execute processes consistently
- Self-management – stay productive while working independently
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Salesforce or credentialing databases (e.g., Cactus, RTMS)
- Basic knowledge of credentialing standards and healthcare admin tools
- Experience validating credentials across official verification databases
