Job Summary:
New England Ballistic Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory & Shipping Associate to manage the inspection, preparation, listing, and shipment of products. This position is responsible for ensuring items are accurately evaluated, professionally presented for sale, and shipped safely and efficiently while maintaining organized inventory records. When work flow is light, the associate will assist the sales team with listing and selling firearms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and evaluate incoming merchandise for condition, completeness, and functionality.
• Clean, photograph, and prepare items for online sales listings.
• Create accurate product descriptions and listings across online sales platforms.
• Package and ship customer orders using approved carriers while ensuring items are securely packed.
• Generate shipping labels and maintain shipping documentation.
• Maintain an organized warehouse and work area.
• Ensure quality control by verifying order accuracy before shipment.
• Follow company policies regarding inventory handling, shipping procedures, and workplace safety.

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts LTC required (must be 21 years or older)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and online marketplace platforms.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for packaging and handling merchandise.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GunBroker or similar online sales platforms.
• Knowledge of shipping software and carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, USPS).
• Basic photography skills for product listings.
