Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Join an advanced cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) team as a certified Radiologic Technologist specializing in interventional cardiology. This travel opportunity, based near the vibrant city of Cambridge, MA, invites experienced imaging professionals to contribute expertise in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment supporting adult patients with complex cardiac needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging and assist in interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, Impella, balloon pump placement, device implants, and ablations.
- Scrub in for procedures requiring sterile technique in the EP lab, including device implants and lead revisions.
- Operate Toshiba X-Ray and Canon imaging equipment with precision and safety.
- Collaborate closely with medical staff using EPIC and cupid charting systems to document patient care.
- Provide coverage to Interventional Radiology as needed, demonstrating flexibility and comprehensive radiology skills.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist with current Massachusetts state license.
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in Cath/EP labs with proficiency in interventional cardiac imaging and scrub duties.
- ACLS certification from AHA mandatory.
- Skilled in using EPIC EMR systems and interventional radiology equipment.
- Comfort with a fast-paced, specialized unit emphasizing cardiac patient care.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
- 7 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule block, including a full weekend (Friday-Sunday).
- On-call room available onsite to support work-life balance during call periods.
