This is a Boston based opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation (Monday - Thursday) with 1 day remote (Friday)

Who We Are:

The Wayfair Learning & Communication Design co-op role is embedded within our Stores Enablement team. This critical team ensures our retail stores have the essential tools, knowledge, and resources to deliver exceptional customer experiences. We achieve this by developing and implementing robust learning programs, operational standards, and communication strategies that empower our store teams for success.


What You’ll Do:


  • Infuse a unique, fresh design perspective into our core learning and communication materials, making them dynamic and memorable

  • Create visually stunning and inspirational presentations for major Wayfair, Perigold, and SRB retail store initiatives

  • Capture, record, and expertly edit photos and videos that serve as the visual backbone for critical training and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents

  • Build and maintain a comprehensive, robust graphics and media catalog that elevates the quality of all communications and training content

  • Function as the dedicated design expert for the training and communications teams, ensuring a high-impact, professional aesthetic in everything we create


What You’ll Need:


Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree graduating between January 2027 - December 2030 with a 3.0 GPA minimum

  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op

  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from July 6 to December 18 2026 in our Boston office

  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

  • Good knowledge of Google Slides/ Docs or Microsoft Powerpoint/Word and ideally Miro

  • Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Top notch creative abilities plus the ability to articulate ideas and opinions

  • Ability to stay organized and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced atmosphere

  • Continual interest in the latest design, art, technology, and current trends

  • Strong comfort level and appetite to use AI in daily workflow

  • Ability to incorporate feedback in your workflow process
