Haitian Creole Speaking Assistant
We are seeking a Haitian Creole Speaking Assistant to help families access childcare financial assistance and local childcare resources. This contract role pays up to $24/hour and provides both community impact and professional development, including training and the opportunity to obtain an AIRS (Alliance for Information & Referral Systems) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess family eligibility for childcare financial assistance and subsidy programs
- Provide accurate information about local childcare providers and resources
- Accurately enter and maintain family case information in online systems
- Support families with resource navigation and referrals to appropriate programs
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure quality service delivery
Requirements:
- Fluency in Haitian Creole and English (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in health & human services or call center support
- Familiarity with childcare subsidy programs or service referral systems preferred
- Availability to work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence in Framingham, MA
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Assisting diverse communities with accessing resources and support services
- Experience in nonprofit or government-funded service programs
- Customer service in a social services or family assistance setting
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of childcare subsidy programs or case management systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or other data management tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse populations
