Hospital UKG Project Manager (Contract)

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Hospital UKG Project Manager (Contract) to lead enterprise UKG project initiatives and remediations at Canadian hospitals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assess current state projects and develop gap analyses and prioritization (for remediation engagements)
  • Own the project plan, budget, and deliverables.
  • Manage integrations, testing, and deployment.
  • Partner with HR leaders and UKG consultants.
  • Ensure projects meet business and compliance goals.
  • Manage complex stakeholders and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Manage vendor deliverables.
  • Lead Steering Committee meetings related to the project status & risks.

What You Bring:

  • PMP certification required .
  • 3+ years of Canadian hospital PM experience with UKG timekeeping and scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of union collective agreements.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Duties:

  • Lead project planning sessions and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize project management tools for effective tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate team meetings to foster collaboration and ensure all team members are aligned with project objectives.
  • Engage in vendor management to coordinate resources and services needed for successful project execution.
  • Implement best practices in requirements gathering, data analysis, and quality management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.
  • Mentor team members in project management methodologies including PMBOK principles.

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE HOSPITAL UKG PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
  • Proven experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of hybrid project management methodologies (agile and waterfall).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining a positive attitude towards challenges.
