Location: Acton, MA
Duration: Full time (Permanent)
Pay Rate: $61,000 - $80,000 per annum
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Service Technician for our client, a manufacturing company in Acton, MA. This is a DIRECT HIRE position. The main responsibility is to lead the repairs and maintenance of machines by providing excellent customer support.
- Travel Requirements: 20% travel/year to customer locations in North America and Canada
- Maintenance and repair of machines, specifically hydraulic machines
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing machine errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Provide service and customer support on phone and on site
- Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks by cooperating with the technical team
- Providing professional customer support via phone and email
- This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire position
- The hours will be Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM. Ideally, for training hours they would like the candidate to be available 7:00am-3:30pm or 10:30am-7:00 pm.
MUST HAVES:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a service technician or mechanical technician role
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Ability to travel internationally 20% of the year for technical training, machine installation and support
