What You’ll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at BHN’s Carlson Recovery Center, you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with personal care, meals, and daily activities.

• Monitoring physical health and emotional well-being of individuals served.

• Checking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with basic medical procedures.

• Supporting clients through behavioral interventions and daily schedules.

• Maintaining accurate documentation and communicating with nursing and supervisory staff.

• Ensuring a safe, clean, and supportive environment for all residents.

• Participating in safety checks and team collaboration to uphold quality standards.

• We have a part time position available with the following schedule - Week 1 Wednesday, Saturday 11pm - 7:30 am, Week 2 Tuesday, Friday 11pm - 7:30 am
• We have a full time position available with the following schedule -

  Week1 : Monday 3-11:30, Wednesday 3-11:30, Thursday 3-11:30, Friday 3-11:30, Week 2: Sunday 7-330, Monday 3-11:30, Wednesday 3-11:30, Saturday 3-11:30

Who You Are

• High School Diploma or GED (required).

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course or equivalent (required).

• Prior experience in a hospital, behavioral health, or recovery setting (preferred).

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals in recovery.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility needs.
