Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Laboratory Donor Transfusion Supervisor for an exciting Travel job in Hyannis, MA.



Key Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of blood transfusion services and donor collection operations.
• Develop, implement, and standardize policies, procedures, and practices for blood bank operations.
• Supervise blood donor center activities, including donor recruitment, collection planning, and mobile or off-site collections.
• Oversee blood bank testing processes, including blood typing, antibody screening, crossmatching, and serologic testing.
• Monitor quality control, instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and accurate reporting of test data.
• Support staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences or a related field.
• ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably in a blood center.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements, including AABB and FDA standards.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, lead teams, and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to donor sites throughout the region.

Preferred Qualifications

• SBB certification preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in a full transfusion service facility preferred.
• Experience in blood donor operations, marketing, and donor recruitment preferred.
