Grinder - Deburrer - $20/hour
Responsibilities:
- Grind, clean, deburr and polish metal items using hand or power tools
- Maintain contour, edges and dimensions
- Operate hand tools to file, grind and finish rough edges.
- Cleans and deburr using tumbling machines, solvents and high pressure air equipment.
- Bevel and countersink holes, edges and surfaces in production pieces
- Understand blueprints and paperwork for special handling instructions and grain direction
- Inspect completed pieces to verify conformance of finished to company standards
- Tumbling machine that deburrs, smooths and burnishes parts
- Use buffing or grinding wheel
Qualifications:
- Previous grinding experience
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Basic shop math
- Basic computer skills
Hours are:
Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
