Summary:

Joseph's Middle East Bakery is seeking a warehouse employee to breakdown route delivers. This individual will report to the warehouse manager and 2nd shift supervisor.

Job Requirements and Duties:

• Employee must be proficient at operating an electric pallet jack.
• Ensure all product is pulled in rotation based on production date.
• Ensure that all product for deliveries is in good condition and any debris or particulate is cleaned off before it is delivered.
• Ensure that all appropriate paperwork is completed in a detailed and accurate manner.
• Bilingual is preferred.
• Assist the warehouse manager with other duties as assigned.
• Employee must be neat and organized.
• Person must be professional, detail oriented, and able to process information to provide an efficient flow of goods for production.
• Employee must follow all rules and regulations of our HACCP plan.
  • Liaising with people at all levels within the organisation
  • Effective professional communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

• Strong command of the written English language

Key Responsibilities:

• Break down orders for route drivers based on invoices provided to you.
• Restack extra bread trays in proper position for next day's orders.
• Check outbound routes for accuracy on count and correct product.
• Ensure that all paperwork is properly adjusted for all route deliveries.
• Clean the exterior of any debris or sediment that has built up on the outside of the packaging prior to shipments.
• Restacking pallets that are leaning or damaged.

Physical/Mental Requirements

Employee should be able to climb a ladder, reach, bend, and frequently lift loads up to 50lbs.

Employee must be able to stand on their feet for prolonged periods at a time, as well as traverse sets of stairs frequently.

PPE required for position:

• Hairnet
• Beard net (if hair is present)
• Work boots

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Shift Position: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Sunday - Friday

Be available to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation
