Handyman

We are seeking a versatile handyman to join our team for an overnight shift from Sunday to Thursday, working from 6pm to 4am, with potential overtime extending to 6am. This role involves working for a commercial general contractor and facilities management company, primarily completing service work at client sites. You will be involved in various tasks such as light electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and millwork. Depending on the project location, you can either drive directly to the site or come to the office and take a service van.

Responsibilities

• Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and millwork tasks.
• Complete service work at client sites and in the shop.
• Drive to projects or take a service van as needed.
• Work autonomously and complete work orders efficiently.
• Transport equipment to and from the shop if on-site work cannot be completed.

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience in finish carpentry, woodworking, drywall, and framing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Valid driver's license for driving company vehicles.
• Experience in construction and general labor.

• Comfortable working night shifts from Sunday to Thursday.
• Capability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to grow into management roles over time.

Work Environment

The role involves working in existing buildings and with retail customers, primarily servicing clients like Starbucks. Work is conducted both on-site and in the shop, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, MA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
