D&R Products is a contract manufacturer of medical devices serving many industry leaders for over 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Swiss CNC turner to join our team with strong work ethic and the ability to work with high precision, tight tolerances. This individual must be able to program, set up and operate Swiss screw machines, (Star and Citizen) from day one. A successful working interview will be required. Salary $30-35/hour.

Essential Functions

• Ensure accuracy and revision levels of production documentation and inspection tools prior to setting up a job.
• Effectively program on the machine, set up and operate a variety of turning machines to machine parts according to specification. Stars Machine Experience Helpful.
• Perform part inspections to ensure quality of work and continually monitors part production to ensure adherence to print tolerances, using appropriate inspection tools and criteria.
• Must be skilled in the use of measuring devices including, but not limited to, micrometers, Vernier calipers and concentricity gages.
• Adhere to ISO inspection processes.
• Ability to analyze and resolve basic machining problems and recommend process and tooling improvements to ensure on time delivery for production.
• Must be able to operate multiple turning machines when cycle time permits.
• Demonstrate experience in close tolerances +/- .0005.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• 2-5 year experience in programming, setting up and operating CNC turning machines.
• Medical device experience a plus.
• High School Diploma, GED or Trade/Technical Certification.
• Strong math and computer skills.
