Key Job Details – Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: Brockton, MA 02301 (Greater Boston area)
- Healthcare Setting: Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
- Employment Type: Travel Contract
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 17, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 10-hour days, 4 shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Call Requirement: Evening and weekend call for emergency cardiac procedures
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,150 - $3,230
- 2-3 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including impella, telemetry, and IABP
- Proficient in reading telemetry strips; must pass telemetry exam on day 1 (85% or better)
- Current Massachusetts RT or RCIS License required
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) preferred
- Perform all cardiac catheterization technologist duties under supervision of the Chief Radiologic Technologist
- Conduct and document hemodynamic monitoring during cardiac procedures
- Assist with radiologic operations and quality control in the Cath Lab
- Troubleshoot and coordinate service for Cath Lab equipment
- Complete patient billing forms for all cardiac catheterization procedures
- Calibrate and maintain film processor and imaging equipment
- Prepare cardiology patients for invasive cardiac procedures
- Participate in evening and weekend call for emergency cardiac interventions
- Maintain confidentiality and security of hospital, staff, and patient data
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrate respect for the dignity and diversity of patients, families, and staff
- Communicate effectively with internal and external healthcare teams, utilizing interpreters as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
