Material Handler 1st Shift - Weekly Pay!

JOB OPPORTUNITY: MATERIAL HANDLER & INVENTORY SPECIALIST

Location: Marlborough, MA (Simarano Dr.)

Starting Wage: $20.00 / Hour

Available Shifts: * 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Mid-Shift: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, high-energy Material Handler to join our Marlborough team. This role is critical to our warehouse operations, ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and documentation of production materials. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who is "hungry for work," comfortable with heights, and experienced in operating specialized power equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Material Logistics: Perform accurate and timely transfers of production materials to and from storage areas. Support business operations with orderly material pulls.
• Inventory Control: Conduct daily cycle counts, reconcile variances, and generate essential reports (cycle count worksheets, backorder, and negative reports).
• Receiving & Distribution: Receive all incoming materials into storage, move items from "Incoming" to "Approved" status, and manage the distribution of goods throughout the facility, including FedEx and UPS deliveries.
• Production Support: Perform work order kitting, KanBan replenishment, and fill shortages/backorders for the production team.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep storage areas clean, neat, and orderly to minimize safety hazards.
• Inter-Departmental Liaison: Interface effectively with Planning, Production, and Shipping departments.

Technical Requirements & Equipment

Must have proven experience with the following power equipment:

• Reach Trucks: Proficiency with stand-up forklift operation.
• Long Prong Pallet Jacks: Experience with ride-on pallet jacks.
• Cherry Pickers: Must not be afraid of heights. This "Man-Up" equipment goes up several stories.
• Unloading: Ability to safely unload trucks using both forklifts and pallet jacks.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Skills: Strong quality record-keeping skills and ability to utilize electronic inventory systems.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights (Cherry Picker) and lift/move heavy materials.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional reliability, punctuality, and a strong "team-first" mentality.
