Operations Assistant

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring the smooth movement of plant materials and supplies, and assisting with a variety of tasks that keep projects running efficiently. Responsibilities
- Assist with the pickup and delivery of landscape materials for projects such as fine garden maintenance, installations, and container gardening.
- Efficiently manage inventories of both perishable and non-perishable materials.
- Support Parterre staff at all levels with various operational and labor needs.
- Help maintain organization and cleanliness of workspaces and vehicles.
- Contribute to a team-oriented, detail-focused work environment.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors and an appreciation for plants, trees, and garden spaces.
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work full days (up to 8 hours) in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Professionalism and effective communication skills.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
- Experience operating landscape-related vehicles is a plus.
- Background in horticulture, art, or design is appreciated but not required.
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
