Our academies offer students aged 13-17 from all over the world the opportunity to join us in prestigious locations renowned for their academic excellence, to take part in a truly unique and exciting academic summer school experience. As part of EC Young Learners, including our sister brand Embassy Summer, we have been successfully delivering outstanding summer camp experiences to young people for over 45 years. As an Activity Leader, you’ll be the one making things happen! You’ll lead games, trips, and activities, get everyone involved, and make sure every student has an amazing, safe, and unforgettable experience. Think energy, teamwork, and positive vibes all the way.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Bring loads of energy and enthusiasm to everything you do.

  • Run on-site activities that get everyone involved and having fun.

  • Take charge of off-site excursions — explore, motivate, and lead the group with confidence.

  • Be a role model — show respect, teamwork, and a great attitude.

  • Communicate clearly so everyone knows what’s going on and what’s next.

  • Get stuck in — chat, laugh, and make sure every student feels included.

  • Help make every student’s experience one they’ll never forget.

  • Be there for your students — keep them safe, supported, and happy.

  • Make sure every activity and trip runs safely and smoothly.

Every year we welcome thousands of students from all over the globe and they’re coming to us for a memorable experience. We need fun, energetic and engaging people to make sure all our clients go home with a smile on their face. You’ll get to see the sights, go to all the tourist attractions and meet people from all over the world. We take care of your food and accommodation; we just need you to take care of the people who keep us in business – the students!

Organisational Compliance

You’ll be expected to follow our company’s Code of Conduct and any local policies that cover academics, welfare, and safeguarding — basically, doing your bit to help create a safe and positive environment for everyone.

We also take Health & Safety seriously! You’ll need to stick to all safety rules, complete any required training, and follow any control measures from risk assessments to keep yourself and others safe.

Education Required

You’ll need to be a High School Graduate or have a GED equivalent.

Extra Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • A valid First Aid Certificate

  • Any specialism in sports coaching, drama, or dance


Experience Required

No previous work experience? No problem!

We’re looking for people with common sense, great communication skills, and a positive attitude. You’ll get full training to do the job well — and it’s a great way to gain real-world experience and build up your CV!


Experience Desired

  • Experience at a summer school, especially with people from different cultures

  • Any background or qualification in hospitality or customer service

  • Experience in sports coaching, drama, or dance

  • Knowledge of the local area

Working week:

  • 6 days out of 7 (1 day off per week)

  • 40 hours per week


Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: starting at $21.50
