Assembly Technician

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Battery Fabrication Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating batteries through various processes, including mixing and coating parts, and operating equipment necessary for the mixing. You will be working in a cleanroom lab setting and collaborating with a team of eight individuals to ensure high-quality assembly. Your ability to read and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and record information in a computer database will be crucial to your success.

• Perform fabrication of batteries through various processes.
• Read and follow SOPs accurately.
• Mix and coat parts throughout the battery fabrication process.
• Operate equipment used for mixing materials.
• Collaborate with a team of eight individuals for assembly tasks.
• Record information in computer databases.
• Ensure quality control in a cleanroom lab environment.

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work with small components.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.

• Experience working in a lab or quality control environment preferred.
• Computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Our work environment is characterized by a start-up culture, where teamwork and collaboration are key. The production team consists of eight people per shift, and due to lab conditions, only a limited number of individuals can be present. You will be gowned up in the lab/cleanroom environment, ensuring a clean and safe workspace. Working hours are Wednesday to Sunday, with shifts running from 6am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 11pm, and 9:30pm - 6am. For these roles, the hours are 4:30pm - 1am, with initial training scheduled from 5am - 9am for 1-2 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Billerica, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
