Senior Nutanix Migration Engineer

As the Senior Nutanix Migration engineer, you will be a key member and lead involved in the migration from VMWare to Nutanix.

• Perform platform migrations
• Provide support of virtual infrastructure through migration processes.
• Provide platform support to internal customers
• Collaborate with teams on solutions
• Perform daily operations tasks and collaborate with vendor
• Documentation of work using internal systems

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and 2 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 framework
• Knowledge of ITSM systems
• Knowledge of all Infrastructure technologies, including monitoring and event management technologies
• Experience with UC/Collaboration and Executive Support, including mobile devices (laptops, tablets, handheld)
• Experience with Broadcom VCF SAN and Nutanix AHV hyperconverged platforms.
• Experience with Nutanix Move tool
• Experience with Automation, CICD, Scripting, Storage, Middleware, including Server, OS, Virtualization, and Container technologies.
• Experience with Network, Voice, Call Center and Network (data and voice) technologies
• Infrastructure hardware support and engineering experience of Dell, HP, or Cisco technologies.
• Incident management.
• Problem Management / RCA.
• Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change.
• Drive conflict management in high pressure situations.
• Performance / metrics-driven decision making.
• ITSM/CMDB application experience with ServiceNow.
• Oral/written communication skills.
• Microsoft Suite of products.
• Broadcom VMware VCF and SRM experience.
• Nutanix AHV, DR and Prism Central experience.
• Kubernetes and Ansible experience.
• Aria operations experience.
• Cisco UCS and Intersight Platform administration.
• HPE OneView and Synergy platform administration.
• DevOps tools experience with GitHub, and other applications.
• PowerShell and other scripting language experience.
