Job Summary
Are you a culinary visionary ready to take the reins of a dynamic kitchen?
We're looking for an Executive Chef who thrives on creativity, leadership, and excellence. This is your chance to shape unforgettable dining experiences, mentor a passionate team, and bring bold ideas to life in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our Executive Chef will lead a busy cafe marketplace & retail dining operation at this visible "center of excellence" certified corporate dining account.
What You'll Do:
Craft Menus That Inspire: Design and execute regular and customized menus that delight guests and meet nutritional standards.
Lead with Excellence: Guide kitchen operations with a focus on safety, sanitation, and top-tier food quality.
Train & Mentor: Empower your team with hands-on training in culinary techniques, food safety, and equipment use.
Maintain High Standards: Oversee cleaning schedules, inventory management, and food cost controls to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Innovate Daily: Taste, tweak, and elevate every dish. Make smart decisions about leftovers and sustainability.
Stay Compliant: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, and shine during audits.
Collaborate & Grow: Participate in team meetings, development programs, and client satisfaction initiatives.
What You Bring:
A.S. degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive culinary leadership (institutional or high-volume preferred)Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
ServSafe certification (highly desirable)
Strong catering and batch cooking experience
Mastery of food trends, presentation, and cost control
Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and kitchen management tools
A hands-on, energetic approach to leading a team and creating memorable meals
