Project Operations Specialist
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Operations Specialist in Boston, MA. Responsibilities: Project & Systems Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records across internal systems
- Monitor employee time entries and follow up on missing or incomplete submissions to support accurate project tracking and cost allocation
- Manage and organize project documentation to ensure files are complete, current, and properly stored
- Verify that projects include all required documentation and accurate financial information
- Assist with project closeout activities by ensuring all required steps and documentation are completed
- Set up and maintain billing milestones and financial details for new and existing projects
- Prepare and process project invoices on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Review and approve project expenses to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines
- Perform regular reviews of project and financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Support internal reporting needs related to project performance, billing status, and financial outcomes
- Basic understanding of project financials, including invoicing and expense tracking
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accurate data
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and common business software tools
- Able to work independently while handling multiple tasks or deadlines
