Cannabis Maintenance Crew Member

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing overall maintenance services to the facility.
The pay for this role is $25.00/hour DOE. This is a full time position . Our facility is located in Worcester, MA.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

1. Supports other workers in diverse repair and maintenance work.
2. Completes preventive maintenance prerequisites, making adjustments on operational parts of devices and instruments as necessary.
3. Troubleshoots malfunctions and locates sources of problems by examining mechanical devices.

1. Uses company's project management tools to report, schedule and develop project plans

1. Organizes and provides maintenance services to the inventory and production workstations.
2. Purchases materials for the facility as permitted and necessary. Gives estimates of required supplies and materials with rational level of accuracy.
3. Cleans parking lots, ditches, streets, alleys, and walkways around the facility.
4. Performs work from work orders, blueprints, and drawings.
5. Organizes and maintains reports and work estimates.
6. Utilizes and takes care of equipment and tools used in the work of maintenance.
7. Cuts, fits and repairs PVC, ABS and PEX water lines.
8. Cuts, fits and assembles non-welded steel parts.
9. Performs basic carpentry and framing work using conventional methods.
10. Carries out emergency fixes on equipment and facilities as necessary.
11. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned.
12. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Job Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.

• Must be 21 years old or older.

Education/Experience: to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:

• High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
• Previous maintenance, construction, or general labor experience preferred

Physical Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:

• Frequently sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 50 pounds, and grasp.
• Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell.
• Regularly climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear.
• Clearly see 20+ feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)
