Sales / Account Manager
The Sales Specialist is primarily responsible for the following functions:
• Identifies service sale opportunities for residential and commercial HVAC, heating oil, and
propane.
• Identifies sale opportunities for on-road diesel fueling.
• Oversees the entire sales cycle, from first contact through closing, and follows up with customers
to ensure satisfaction. Completes necessary paperwork or all contracts and quotes.
• Meets quarterly quotas for sales and new customer accounts.
• Reports closed sales to Finance.
• Seeks out new customers and works to reactivate stagnant accounts.
• Establishes, grows, and maintains new and existing customer relationships.
• Develops solutions to address the unique challenges and needs of individual customers.
• Collaborates with upper management to develop promotions and campaigns.
• Submits weekly sales reports and communicates daily with the President, keeping them abreast
of sales operations.
• Works closely with Service Manager and Contract & Supply Manager to set sale prices.
• Ensures customers receive and complete a credit application and are properly set up in billing
software.
• Responds to customer inquiries or complaints by working with other divisions to resolve issues.
• Attends conferences and networking events as necessary to further sales portfolio.
• Performs other similar duties as required.
