Used Car Reconditioning Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail‑oriented Pre‑Owned Vehicle Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on preparing pre‑owned vehicles for retail sale through inspections, maintenance, and mechanical reconditioning. In addition, you will also perform Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) on brand‑new Nissan vehicles to ensure they meet factory standards before reaching customers. This role offers steady work, exposure to unique vehicles, and exciting long‑term growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi‑point inspections on pre‑owned vehicles
• Complete reconditioning repairs including brakes, suspension, fluids, belts, batteries, and basic diagnostics
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments
• Identify safety and mechanical issues prior to vehicle sale
• Road test vehicles to confirm quality of repairs
• Perform Pre‑Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new Nissan vehicles
• Work efficiently to meet production and delivery timelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Mechanical experience or automotive schooling preferred
• Basic diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to follow reconditioning and PDI procedures
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Own basic tools preferred
