The Ground Operations Specialist plays a vital role within the General Tree Care team, contributing to daily field operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with crew members to perform pruning, tree removals, cabling, bracing, and related tasks
• Safely operate chainsaws, rigging systems, and specialized tree care equipment
• Apply proper climbing and pruning techniques to support tree health and safety
• Deliver excellent customer service while working on residential and commercial properties
• Follow all safety guidelines and industry standards during operations
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in arboriculture and tree maintenance

Requirements:

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong interest in outdoor work and tree care services
• Willingness to learn tree climbing techniques without spurs and proper pruning methods
• Interest in identifying tree species and understanding plant health
• Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and high-quality work environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor setting
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds regularly
