Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Worcester, MA, requiring C-section circulator experience and AWHONN certification.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; candidates without a MA license in hand may be considered provided there are no license or background issues and they are willing to prioritize obtaining licensure upon offer
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate level or above)
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 3 years strongly preferred — candidates with 2 years must have travel nursing experience
• Ability to circulate C-sections required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or above
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam — each allows only one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation
• Study materials are provided prior to and during the compliance/onboarding process
• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
