What You'll Do as a Delivery-Warehouse Team Member
- Safely deliver exterior building materials to contractor jobsites and wholesale customers while representing our company with professionalism and outstanding customer service.
- Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and techniques, ensuring every order is handled carefully and arrives safely.
- Prepare and stage customer orders by verifying products and quantities before they leave our warehouse.
- Receive and organize incoming shipments, inspect materials for accuracy or damage, and stock inventory in the proper locations.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move materials, load trucks, and support daily warehouse operations.
- Communicate with customers and our team regarding delivery schedules, jobsite needs, and any issues that arise throughout the day.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, delivery vehicles, and work environment while performing routine equipment inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
- Assist customers with pickups, returns, and general warehouse support to help keep our operations running efficiently.
Our Ideal Delivery-Warehouse Team Member
- Dependable: You take ownership of your work, pay close attention to details, and follow through on your commitments while helping to maintain an efficient warehouse.
- Qualified: Valid Massachusetts driver's license, comfortable using Google Maps for daily routes, and willing to obtain a Massachusetts Driver's Medical Card if needed.
- Safety-Focused: You operate delivery vehicles, forklifts, and warehouse equipment responsibly while making safety a priority for yourself and those around you.
- Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 140 pounds and are comfortable bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Customer-Oriented: You enjoy serving customers professionally, communicating clearly, and taking pride in creating a positive experience with every delivery and interaction.
- Team Player: Values collaboration, treats others with respect, and remains teachable, contributing to a positive, faith-friendly culture where people genuinely care for one another.
